Our Partners

We are on a mission to shape a medical profession that can provide timely diagnosis and excellent care to people living with rare disease. But we cannot do this alone!

Medics for Rare Disease has been running its Partnership Programme since 2019.

Commercial companies partner with us because they understand that broad Rare Disease 101 training is required to realise more equitable healthcare for any single patient group.

We are stronger when we work together for a common cause.

The Partnership Programme runs on a calendar year basis and Partner Benefits include:

  • Build an association with a trusted and influential charity, with a proven track record for rare disease training and advocacy
  • Join a wider network or organisations, companies and individuals who are making a measurable difference for patients with rare conditions
  • Gain access to individuals with a vast pool of expertise on rare disease, including consultancy on key policy issues and relevant education and training, ‘Lunch & Learn’ sessions and RD101
  • Have the opportunity to participate in established rare disease events, campaigns and activities

Medics for Rare Disease partners with commercial companies in order to receive funding and to progress its mission. The charity works independently from these companies. Sponsorship does not equate to endorsement of any company or its products.
