ADVOCATE
The next chapter of rare disease education needs you.
The next step is to embed rare disease 101 training into curricula and medical workforce training. So no matter the prevalence of a patient’s condition, they can trust that they will benefit from equitable healthcare in the UK.
While we have a number of established, long-term partnerships with industry sponsors, we are now expanding and also looking towards alternative funding streams. We would love to hear from individual philanthropists and grant-making trusts and foundations that might be interested in partnering with us.
We gratefully accept contributions towards our core costs. Unrestricted grants give us the greatest flexibility to target resources where they are most needed. Alternatively, you can offer your support for specific projects if you prefer.
If you are the trustee of a trust or foundation and would like to help us to end inequality in healthcare based on the rarity of a condition, please contact our Partnerships & Community Manager, Jo McPherson.
Partnerships with philanthropists will help us transform the services and support we provide. Income streams will have a significant and long-lasting impact.
By supporting our work, you:
“Bionical Emas has worked with MfRD for many years and has witnessed a significant positive impact from our collaborations. We had the privilege of creating an ‘Early Access Module’ for Rare Disease 101, which has helped increase awareness and educate healthcare professionals about Early Access.
We want to continue supporting MfRD, which works tirelessly every day to deliver vital work for the rare community, ensuring that people living with rare conditions receive timely diagnoses and excellent care with all treatment options available to them.”
